Heritage Manor - Colfax first opened as Octavia Manor in 1971. Octavia Manor was originally licensed as a 55-bed intermediate care facility. In 1981, five new rooms were added, along with a new dining room. Heritage Enterprises purchased Octavia Manor in July of 1995. In January 2000, Heritage Manor Colfax was approved as a skilled nursing facility and became Medicare certified in March 2000.

"As a smaller home, our community has a large investment in our facility," says Administrator Christine Banks. "We are the heart of the community - neighbors serving neighbors."

Residents benefit from the long-term, experienced caregivers at our facility. The caregivers and residents form extremely close relationships, strengthening our family environment.

Residents at our facility enjoy a number of community activities, including a monthly lunch at the Never Too Old (NTO) Club.
