Heritage Manor - Danville

"Physicians and discharge planners feel comfortable referring their patients to us - which speaks volumes."

Colonial Manor was built in 1962 by Richard Black as a 36-bed facility in Danville. In 1967, it expanded to 55 beds and in 1987 another 21 beds were added. In 1996, Heritage Enterprises and Carle Foundation Hospital purchased Colonial Manor in a joint venture. Just two years later, we again expanded our capacity to 83 beds and added extensive therapy services.

"We have established ourselves as a facility that gives excellent care," says Administrator Mark Black. "However, the credit for making that happen lies with a dedicated staff that enjoys what they do and takes ownership in the care of our residents and their families. Physicians and discharge planners feel comfortable referring their patients to us. I think that that speaks volumes."

We offer a wide array of services on-site, including nursing services, daily activities, hair salon/barber shop, housekeeping/laundry, hospice care, respite care, as well as physical, occupational, and speech therapies. We are Medicare certified.

We have an "open door" policy to the community and welcome anyone at any time to visit and take a tour.
