Heritage Manor - El Paso

"Here, friends, family, and neighbors can come to visit anytime."

Heritage Health-El Paso opened as McDaniel Nursing Home in 1966. The current facility, constructed in 1973, was purchased by Heritage Enterprises in 1987. Today we have 65 beds, due to renovations throughout the years and an addition in 1992.  In 1996, Crossroads Medical Clinic was built, which is now the home of Advocate Medical Group. The clinic, which neighbors Heritage, provides physical, occupational, and speech therapies to residents.

"Being a caregiver is a whole different relationship," says administrator Diane Greene. "Here, friends, family, and neighbors can come to visit anytime. They're actually gaining their independence. They're not asking their son or daughter to do for them, so they are able to keep their relationship as mother/daughter or father/son."

Heritage Health-El Paso is a smaller facility that offers a home-like atmosphere in a country setting. We are proud to have gardens with fountains and outdoor exercise trails.

Residents at our facility continue growing relationships with the community. Many participate in volunteer activities, such as: raising funds for schools, preparing food for community events and friends experiencing illness or tragedy, working with a local day care center, and hosting a haunted house.

Our facility offers a number of specialized services, including therapy and an Alzheimer's special care unit. Heritage Health-El Paso is a member of the Illinois Health Care Association, the American Health Care Association, and the El Paso Chamber of Commerce. In addition, staff and residents lend their time and services to the American Heart Association, Alzheimer's Association, American Cancer Association, El Paso School District, and local church groups.

We are proud to provide wireless internet service for guest and visitor use.
