In 2005, Barton W. Stone - located in a quiet, residential setting in Jacksonville, Illinois - became a part of the Heritage family of nursing facilities. As a multi-level health care community, Barton W. Stone offers residents a range of care options. From independent living in apartments and cottages to a fully licensed nursing facility, residents can balance the type of care they need and the independence they desire.

"We offer a full range of care to our residents," says Administrator Mike Schneider. "Our staff provides excellent care, and families trust us because we see to their loved ones' needs and concerns immediately. We have a long-standing reputation in the community as an excellent long-term care provider."

Barton W. Stone offers residents five living options, including: independent living, sheltered and residential care, intermediate care, skilled care, and specialized care for Alzheimer's patients. The friendly and caring staff provides all of the residents with a home-like, family atmosphere, making each resident feel comfortable.

Barton W. Stone is a Medicare Certified facility and offers both Respite and Hospice Care. Other services include physical, occupational, and speech therapies, diet and nutrition services, and a full range of activities for all residents.
