Heritage Manor - Gibson City began as Gibson City Manor, a 24-bed convalescent and nursing home built in 1968. Heritage Enterprises purchased the facility in the mid-1970s and, in 1976, added-on 24 beds. A 1991 addition included six resident rooms, a day room, and a screened porch.

"Families thank our staff quite frequently for the care we give their loved ones," says Administrator Karen Christensen. "They know that we love what we do by the quality of care shown to residents. One family member of a former resident recently thanked us for the loving care her mother had at Heritage. Her mother always had a big smile on her face, and we made the last few years of her life very peaceful."

Our experienced staff works hard to meet the needs of seniors. Among our services, we offer a restorative program, respite care, and adult daycare. Further, our facility features beautifully kept grounds and a flower garden for our residents to enjoy.

Heritage Manor - Gibson City is Medicare and Medicaid certified. In addition, we have a particularly energetic Activities Department, which facilitates field trips to the zoo, parks, malls, and restaurants.
