Heritage Manor - Staunton, formally known as both the Barry Care Center and the Country Care Center, was built in 1965. Heritage Enterprises purchased the facility in March of 1996. We are located across the street from Community Memorial Hospital, which makes it easy for residents to get to doctor appointments. We also house our own Rehab-to-Home Program.

"Families trust us because of our courteous and friendly staff," says Administrator Karla Lounsbury. "We have a reputation in the community for providing great care and actively communicating with our residents' families. We encourage family involvement. We're willing to help in anyway we can. Residents' care and their needs are the utmost priority. We aim for 100% satisfaction."

Our facility, which is Medicare Certified, offers physical, occupational, and speech therapies, as well as numerous activities, to our residents. Staff and residents volunteer for the local nutritional center, preparing and delivering Meals on Wheels to seniors in the community and remain active with the local schools. In addition, over 80 volunteers donate numerous hours each month to our residents, adding to the success of our facility.

Heritage Manor of Staunton is an active member of the local Chamber of Commerce.
