A part of the Bloomington-Normal community, Heritage Health - Normal provides a continuum of care for all levels of need. Affiliated with both Adelaide Apartments and Evergreen Place Assisted Living, Heritage Health - Normal provides both Legacy Care (Specialized Alzheimer's Services - and quality long-term and intermediate nursing care through on-site physical, occupational, and speech therapies.

"Our consistent open door policy and follow through with current and former families allow us to continue building a trusting relationship," says Administrator Cindy Wegner. "Our families constantly comment on how much they appreciate all we do for their family member."

Our facility has also built trusting relationships with Heartland Community College and the Mennonite School of Nursing, gaining the latest information on geriatric nursing from the students. We also have Art and Music Therapy Internists from Illinois State University working with our residents. Our facility has many community relationships that provide continuing individual care for our residents.

Individual care also extends to Heritage Health's Legacy Care Unit, which caters to the special needs of Alzheimer's patients. Legacy Care includes only a small number of residents - large enough to feel like a community, but small enough to allow for individual attention.

We also provide wireless internet service for guest and visitor use.
