Located in Normal, Illinois, Adelaide Retirement Apartments provides for complete independence with the comfort of 24-hour emergency support service. Open for nearly 20 years, Adelaide Apartments recently completed a remodel of the living and dining areas and are currently undergoing a bathroom remodel to install walk-in showers.

“Residents can remain as independent as they want to be in a worry-free, supportive environment,” says Coordinator Vickie Post. “They can personalize their apartments to feel more like home.”

Adelaide features studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom apartments with full kitchens and bathrooms. Daily meals are provided, including a selective lunch menu and a light, “take-home” supper. We also provide arranged transportation, laundry services, and housekeeping. Activities and community programs are also arranged for the residents.

Additional care at our facility includes diet and nutrition services and respite care.

We also sponsor a local caregiver support group: CAPS, which offers support and advice to people caring for a loved one at home. You can call (309) 268-4209 to learn more. Meetings are held the last Wednesday of every month at 5:30 p.m.
