Corporate Office
The foundation of Heritage is built on the
strong leadership skills of the senior staff
in Bloomington, IL. This experienced group
coordinates operations for 34 facilities across
Illinois. Every day thousands of families and
loved ones count on the corporate staff to
make the right decisions. No one from the Heritage
team stands alone; the knowledgeable experts
of the corporate support staff stand by each
facility and each resident.

Facility Team Members:
With
the support of the corporate team, each day hundreds of employees care
for our residents. Each employee plays an important role in the daily
operations of Heritage. Take a moment to learn about the important
roles of the Heritage staff.
Administrators.
From schools to shopping centers, all successful organizations rely on
strong leadership. Heritage embraces this mentality, selecting only the
most qualified leaders to manage overall facility operations. Licensed
administrators plan, organize, direct, and supervise care within their
facility, ensuring each and every resident receives the special
attention they deserve.
Social Services Department.
Heritage understands a stay at a nursing or assisted living facility is
quite a change in someone's life. The Social Services team makes that
transition as smooth and comfortable as possible by attending to
residents' needs during their stay and coordinating many aspects of
care. From acting as a liaison between physicians and loved ones to
making sure rooms are comfortable, Social Services is always available
and willing to help.
Director of Nursing (DON).
Directors of Nursing lead nursing staff with their experience,
knowledge, and exceptional supervisory skills. The Director of Nursing
also works closely with other department heads, coordinating and
managing care plans and making certain that everyone works together to
provide the best care possible for each resident.
Nursing Team.
Heritage residents can sleep peacefully knowing highly trained Licensed
Practical Nurses (LPN) and Registered Nurses (RN) are caring for their
needs 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Nurses administer medication,
carry out doctors' orders, and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants.
While caring for Heritage residents, the attention that nurses pay to
detail is second to none.
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA).
CNAs help seniors in all areas that may require assistance such as
dressing, eating, and bathing. Unlike most nursing facilities, Heritage
offers many of our CNAs the opportunity to receive additional training
above and beyond their regular certification. This training addresses
the unique needs of the senior population, aiding in the exceptional
everyday care of Heritage residents.
Therapists and Rehabilitation Specialists.
When an elderly person suffers a trauma or illness, even the routine
activities of life may become difficult or impossible. All Heritage
facilities are equipped with in-house speech, physical, and
occupational therapy as well as rehabilitative services that help
seniors reach the fullest level of independence possible. Restoring and
maintaining health, dignity, and independence is the top priority of
the Heritage therapy and rehabilitation services.
Activity Staff.
In addition to physical health, Heritage looks after the social and
mental well being of seniors. Heritage Activity Directors plan on-site
and off-site activities that enable residents to enjoy many of the same
things they have always loved. Heritage takes pride in the variety of
recreational opportunities provided to our residents.
Dietary Team.
Heritage dietary professionals take special care in preparing meals and
snacks that meet residents' preferences as well as doctors'
specifications. The dietary team provides residents with many meal
options, and prepares alternative meals when necessary. Heritage
provides an enjoyable meal experience with a pleasant dining atmosphere.
Business Office.
The Business Office supports Administrators and Department Managers
through such duties as greeting visitors, ordering supplies and forms,
and data entry. The duties performed by the Business Office aid in the
smooth day-to-day functioning of each facility.
Support Staff.
Heritage support staff work around-the-clock to maintain safe and clean facilities. Team members in departments such as Housekeeping, Laundry, and Maintenance are dedicated to creating a wonderful stay for Heritage residents.
